Baptisms and Confirmations by arrangement
We conduct baptisms for both children and adults as set out in the Basis of Union for the Uniting Church of Australia.
It is the long-standing practice of the Church that candidates attend classes before being presented for Confirmation. The aim of these is to give participants the opportunity to learn more about the Christian faith, to explore what it means to be a Christian, and to prepare for Confirmation.
Attending confirmation classes does not commit anyone to going forward for confirmation. That is a decision for each individual nearer the time and no one is expected to be confirmed until they feel ready to take this important step in the Christian journey. So even if you are undecided but would like to learn more about Christian faith and commitment, please do ask about a class to suit you.
