Funerals
A Christian funeral is an occasion both of sadness as we mourn the death of someone, as well as thanksgiving for their life; and we take heed to ourselves as well, reflecting on our own mortality. But perhaps most of all it is an occasion of hope, as we turn our eyes upon the one who in the power of God is even more powerful than death.
